Looking on their dimly-lit panel, people wonder- "how could Porsche overlook this?" well.they didn't. The 944 vdo cluster panel has three reflectors which control the ambient light inside the cluster. Over the years the glazing on the reflectors has faded, yellowed and cracked in 90% of 944s and 968s. As a result, the elements are no longer capable of transferring light correctly, making the panel unreasonably dark.
